haha~ good news... for myself.... i lost 2 pounds!!! gosh.... seems like the "apple diet" is really working well.... *hehe* I can't wait to lose more!! Anyway, summer sch is will be ending in like a week's time.... then i'll get like 2 wks break before Fall semester starts. Might be going to canada... 3 days 2 nights thingy... but not sure... definitely lookin forward to the trip!

Watched Stealth today.. it was a pretty cool movie.... although not really my type... damn... i downloaded The Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy and it sux! Argh~ it was totally NOT like the book... damn it! Next movie i'm lookin forward to: The Da Vinci Code... I hope it's more or less like the book which i read....

Well, gotta hit my books again.... spanish test on tue.... i love spanish but i hate the tests! Hasta mañana!

Hmm.... another day juz gone like that.... i can't believe how slack i am... haha~ actually i'm kinda enjoying myself.. at home, yes... what to do... dun hav a date yet... *wink* well... even if i do hav a date, i'm too lazy to go out... argh~ gonna finish my book.. Celeste by VC Andrews... i kinda like the plot but it's a little draggy in the middle portion.. gotta finish it up this weekend so i can return it next wk.

Well, watched The Joy Luck Club today... it's a dvd which my fren lent me. Pretty entertaining show, it totally epicts the chinese behavior.. haha~ Watched The Hurricane 2 days ago... both old movies.. from the 80s if i'm not wrong... but the plot is really there. Movies these days are getting really trashy... it's great to watch the 80s movies once in a while coz u'll be reminded of wat a gd movie is... entonces, gonna finish my book now. have fun!

Another spanish test today... i really have no idea wat's wrong with the professor... so damn free... haha~ Received imelia's email today... retarded girl.. retarded in a funny sense... she's like one of my really gd frens...

Smtimes, i juz feel so upset with myself. Know why? coz i often embarrass myself. How? Well, I think it's because of my "cannot be bothered" attitude.... I was on my way to class in the morning and 2 of my classmates from the previous semester called me from behind. I turned... kinda recognize them... but had no idea wat their names were. And one of them said, "Hi Christabel!! how've u been!??" As usual, i was like, "Yeah... i'm fine! Haha~ Wat about u?" And we chatted for awhile... but i felt really bad after the conversation coz they remembered so much stuff about me, like my name, where i was from, when i arrived in NYC... et cetera... but me? the only memory i had of them were that they were in the same chemistry lecture as me last semester. *SIGH* I realize that this isn't the first time such a thing has happened to me... I always never bother to remember people's name (unless it's a cute guy).... bad fren huh? Well, i'm gonna try to change that lousy attitude of mine! haha~

Then i was on my way back and this guy... i think in late twenties tapped me from behind and asked, "Hi! My name is **didn't get his name coz we were in the main street**. Care to be a fren? Wat's ur name?" This kind of situations has happened a few times to me in NYC... and I always nv know how to react. Shld I give him my name? or shld i juz ignore and walk away? Anyway, I didn't give him my name in the end but i also did not juz brush him away rudely. Rather, I smiled and replied, "Have a nice day!"

Well, i think that was a pretty gd reply wasn't it? too bad he wasn't my type of guy... *Wasted*... Life's been gd lately.... love life's kinda lookin up too... soon soon... *evil laughter*

Missing everyone dearly....

Smthin's wrong with my brain these few wks..... i keep dreamin of my family members and frens in singapore..... and most of the time, the sweet dreams juz slowly change into nightmares.... i think i'll miss them badly... argh~ wonder wat's wrong..... mayb that explains why i'm feeling so lethargic in the day....

anyway, i'll be back in dec... so patience is the word here.... going to the mall later... hope smthin catches my eye...

I'm so glad the mid term exams are over... i need to slp... so damn tired... not sure why... it's 12.25pm but I'm feeling lethargic..!! Wat's wrong with me? haha~ I'll probably take a nap after i've bathed... the weather is really hot these days... really wanna go to the beach one of these days... to slp.. haha~but my fren told me not to go near the beaches in NYC. Noe why?? Coz it's freaking dirty!!! *yuck* the water is brown... and there's broken glass in the sand... *disgusted* Heard the beaches in florida is really pretty and most of the ppl there speak spanish so.... hope to be able to go there next yr.. but then again.. it seems like my itinery for nx yr is kinda packed.. i'm supposed to be in HK for 2 wks before returning to S'pore for the summer... then my fren is kinda organizing this Europe tour.. so... i'm gonna be really broke and busy...

I wanna go to Bora bora... maldives... bahamas... gosh..... egypt.... when when.... i can't wait to be like my 'inspiration'... she's rich and successful... argh~ let my dreams come true asap please!

Another half a day has passed.... nothin exciting has happened... juz another spanish test today.... it's juz mad... we've like 2 tests every wk! wat the hell..... anyway, i've decided to join Bally total fitness... haha~ coz the gymnasium in my sch sux! And moreover, I need a personal trainer to tell me what i shld eat and wat I shld not... so hopefully i'll be able to lose more weight!! One of the worst thing that can happen to a gal is to gain weight.... hate it! But at least I'm trying to rectify my problem huh.... argh~ gonna hv my lunch now....

Hmmm... finally i get to rest.... after the stupid spanish test... did pretty well *i'm glad* so i rewarded myself with a little prezzie. haha~ Perfume from Banana Republic!! Not sure if i've ever mentioned it before but that's my favorite fragrance!! *sniff* smells so gd... and i think it's only sold in USA now.. so lucky me huh?? The price was ok... about 42 bucks including taxes.... glad my KIND cuzzy paid for it with his credit card... at least i've to settle the bill only at the end of the month... *phew*

I can't wait to buy it... but it cost a freaking $380 now.... without line... rather expensive... i'll probably get it next yr, when my plan's up.. hopefully the cellphone will get cheaper by then.. i think my wishlist is almost filled up.. haha~ Maybe i can propose smthin to my mom... hmmm mayb gd grades in xchange for a new cellphone? But i doubt that, my mom never buys threats... *lol* Guess i've to depend on myself..... baseline: I need a freaking job!!!!

Forgot to mentioned that Zürich is having it's teddy summer now... that means that for summer, they have teddy bears on display thru-out the city.. Superman bear, sushi bear, USA bear, Sprite bear... et cetera. i think it lasts from May thru to sept every yr.. haha~ here's a pic of one of the bears... damn cute huh?

Juz received an email from somebody whom i thot hated me to the core.... not sure if i shld reply it or not... I mean I thot he wanted me out of his life forever.... he mentioned a few of the happier moments we shared which kinda surprised me coz apparently, he was freaking pissed with me when we broke up. Guys... weird beings... Anyway, the usuals in that email.. 'Hi, how've u been? busy with ur new life in NYC i supposed?'...

He "sounded" so nice (as usual!).. asking me about my life and stuff.. for a moment or two, i kinda felt bad for the way i used to treat him.. i mean, he was a really sweet guy, ALWAYS giving in to me, and i kinda really liked him... but yes, still we split. WHY? Coz i couldn't get past the fact that we might not have a future together... I hated the fact that we had different "wants" and goals in life... am i really that picky?! I think i'm juz being realistic... can't help it... i dun want to be poor... i hate being poor!! I hate not having the money buy what i want, to do what i want! And I'm certainly not about to allow a guy (who has no aspirations!) ruined my dream life...!!

*a big sigh* The truth is always cruel... i hope he doesn't read this post otherwise i'm screwed! *oops* but in any case, if he is reading this, juz wanna "say": HEY! i really liked u before, but i guess things juz didn't work out. I hope ur life has gotten better, i will not be replying your email coz I kinda feel that u still hate me... so.. take care! and maybe we can meet again when i'm back in singapore in dec! =P

Receiving emails from ex-bfs always feels weird... coz first thing when i see the person's name, "gosh... is he gonna curse me again?" Coz i'll never forget the weeks after we break up... hate sms-es, emails...et cetera... it's unbelivable! Then when u open to read the mail, it goes like, "hi! Juz wondering how've u been?" (u-know and stuff) Who was the smart alec who said that who could still be frens after breaking up?? It's bullshit!! Trust me... if u can still be frens, it simply means that either one party did not really liked the other one that much...

Enuff of all the crap.. i shldn't let the past affect my future! haha~ damn it.... gonna slp... *yawns*

Spanish test went well today... i think so.... i'm so glad i took spanish 112 in summer... coz my Fall semester is seriously packed!! I hope i can get thru it... then i can take the long and "ardous" flight back to singapore.. I can't wait.... to eat... haha~

Nothin exciting happening... boring life i lead huh... hopefully things will get better in Fall...

Salut! Summer sch has finally started and boy am I disappointed!! Know why?! Coz there were NO gd looking guys at all... my gosh... is my life cursed or wat???!? I can't wait to get my butt into Université De Genève!! haha~ I seriously believe that I'll be able to live in Switzerland one day.. haha~ juz need to work really hard!! My future is always the strongest motivation for me to work extra hard... whenever I feel like giving up, I juz have to remind myself that it's gonna be worth it in the end, and I'll go all out for it!! Thank god, my parents have been really really supportive... otherwise í'll still be leading a boring and miserable life in singapore... argh~

Well well, dora wants me to go to HK with her at the end of the yr and raymond's planning a trip to Europe next yr... if I dun get a job or at least win the jackpot soon, I think i can forget about going anywhere! *lol* But it'll be fun to be in HK with my goody fren!!! I can't wait actually!! haha~ the europe trip sounds fantastic too... coz there're plans to visit France and Greece.... so... hopefully things will turn out well and money will roll in asap!

Have a spanish test on monday... argh~ so much to study... preterito and imperfecto.. hate the past tenses.... Luis called and asked me out for coffee... i'm surprised that he already knows that i'm back in NYC... *hmmm* lazy to go out... moreover, i wanna study for my test... But then again, it was been quite sometime since I last caught a movie.. Wat's gd?? I didn't know that Bewitched's already out. But the yahoo critics ---> C

What the hell? Still wanna watch it... there's nicole kidman and from the previews, it seems like a really funny movie! haha~ maybe i'll watch it on tuesday! So sleepy... and a little weak.. having a slight diarhorea... damn it.... gd thing, the weekends here again. Time for a gd rest! Bon weekends!

I'm back!!

Bonjour!! I'm back from Switzerland! This was a fantastic trip!! Much better than the Hawai'i trip last dec..... haha~ I've so much to share... but not sure how where to stay... the place was gd, ppl were nice, hotels were fantastic.... gosh... it was almost heaven.... mayb juz a few glitches here and there.... Ok let's start with me taking Swiss International Airlines. The flight attendents were really courteous... and I juz love it when they speak english with a tinge of french...! Genève Aéroport wasn't a very big airport but gd enuff... the men at the customs were so gd looking!! haha~ plenty of eye candies the moment I touched down.. I guess that's wat we mean by a gd start! The moment I touched down, I gave a call to my aunt who was waiting eagerly for me in the hotel. Took a taxi to meet her.... CHF 30.10 for a 15mins (or lesser) drive... but it was a mercedes benz so worth it I guess.... Arrived at Hôtel Du Midi - 4 stars hotel...

After washing up, met my aunt's colleague and together, the 3 of us went shopping for swiss chocolates. Haha~ It was chocolate and men paradise.... Geneva's like singapore... a very clean city... the public toilets were juz incredibly clean! After staying in NYC for about half a yr, u will learn to appreciate cleanliness.... The tap water was refreshing and clear too. Even thought MANY ppl owned dogs, I never saw a single dog poo on the floors... This shows how civilized and hygenic the swiss ppl are... unlike in NYC... haha~ Anyway, met many of my aunt's colleagues, and they were so gd looking!! So smart looking in their business suits.. funny and witty.... I love the swiss men!! They appreciate wine, they're freaking handsome, and juz love listening to them speak in french!

To cut short, we went to other towns - via the railway trains: Zermatt (my favorite), Zürich and Berne. Wanted to go to Lausanne but we did not have enuff time so.... too bad... There's so much to talk about the trip, but I'm too lazy to type it all.... but the main pt was, it was excellent!! I hope to be able to go there again next yr.... hopefully with my frens this time. **DORA, save money!! Then we can go together!!!

Oops.. forgot to mention that I finally had the chance to try the cheese fondue! Ate it with white wine, the wine was really gd... swiss wine, but the cheese fondue was juz al'right... my aunt's colleague gave us a treat.. I like her alot.. she's so knowledgeable and funny... successful.. wish I can be like her in future... her benz was great too!! The best part is: she's gonna buy a hse in Zermatt soon, and she said if i wanna ski there in future, I can stay in her hse! haha~ free accomodation...

Argh~ how i wish i can study in Switzerland... met many ppl with amazing character over there... but in order to get into the university there, i have to master my french.. which is why I am intending of taking french lessons again next yr.. It's definitely the place i wanna work in hopefully in the near future...
