First and foremost, HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone!! I'm sure most people were having fun and juz enjoying themselves on New year's Eve but guess wat?! I was SICK in bed... damn... caught the flu virus... had a stuffy nose, and a very bad sore throat. Antibiotics aint working so far... oh well... but on a happier note, i'm really thankful that xiaoling was with me on NY's eve and New Year's Day! Haha~ guess wat? She actually cooked my favorite cuttlefish congee and even fried lobster for me! Oh man..... so I guess I cant complain that much!! Most of the photos have been uploaded on my FB.. here are some remainder from my Omnia! haha~

So anyway, I managed to find a near cream puff store!!! ~The last time I tried Beard Papa... huge disappointment!!! =( I think Choux Factory is more of my taste!! Check it out!!

I bought 2 vanilla custard, 1 chocolate and 1 strawberry, together with a cup of café au lait! Hmmm.... upon reaching home, I found this little note stucked on the bag of my choux cream!! haha~ cute and warm!!! Reminds me of the notes which erm... Nami writes to me... haha~ OKOK i know dora is going to kick/ slap me.... =S Alrightey, shan't type further. It's snowing gently outside today... I really do hope it stops soon... otherwise I'll juz be forced to sit and rot at home alone! =( I cant wait for my dorry to be back from KL!! My social life is in a mess right now. Kinda. I'm sorta attached but not really, coz apparently i'm not sooo into mr. E and as usual, dora always has the latest updates on my side. So wat's been going on?? A whole summer break went past juz like that.. most of my close frens will noe that the trip to japan was simply disastrous. I still cant get over it!! Never in my life(mayb now) have i ever had such a bad vacation. It was seriously screwed up!!!

Anyway, i woke up today and decided to hav some corn. I had bought some corn on cob earlier last week. I took the corns out of my refrigerator and stared at them. I suddenly realized that, i had no idea how to cook the corns!! I couldn't decide if i had to peel off the husk before placing it in the boiling water, or to simply dump them in, and peel off later. I was so shocked at my ignorance! I juz couldn't believe it!!!! In the end, i had to go online to search for instructions on how to cook them. I did it successfully, obviously.. they're juz corn. argh~

But the point was, it got me thinkin: Am i really that spoilt as wat nami claims?? We were brought up under different environments, we hail from different cultures & backgrounds and our education systems were different. Is that the reason for our many quarrels or rather disagreements/differences? I have no idea. When she asked me what i planned to do with her the other day, i really didn't noe how to answer. I didn't hate nor dislike her, but i also couldn't decide how we could be frens anymore. From the moment we knew each, till being best frens and living together, and now, falling apart with one another, has only been less than a yr. I can say, that was hell of a 1 yr to me (of course, i can't deny that I also had a hell lot of enjoyable moments). I dunno wat i want exactly. I dunno if i still want to be frens with her, or not. Part of me says I shld juz let go, some frenships juz dun work! But another part of me says, i shld give us another chance. how how how??? I think i'm turning into a very indecisive person!!!

I think things would be alot easier for me, if she had juz suggested that we not be frens anymore. But now that she is leaving the choice up to me, it's juz frustrating. i can't decide! =( sometimes, i feel so free without having to consider her feelings and all those crap, but at times, when i go past the restaurants that we used to frequent, or when i juz want some good spaghetti, i realize that i still miss her, at least a little. I've new frens now, new good frens. But somehow or rather, the feeling is juz not that same. When dora and chew were having problems, at least she had jill and the rest. I noe i hav dorry and jilly too, but the thing is, we're worlds apart! My new good fren here, Yan, doesn't noe everythin about me. She's kind and nice, but the feeling is juz different altogether. i noe i've to snap out of all this nonsense soon, but until i found a solution, pls forgive me for obssessing!! =(

Yes... i finally trashed things out with nami. In case u're wondering why i'm so free to be bloggin right now, it's coz i'm once again at work. LOL... doc will be in only later in the afternoon. I'm here juz to slack and pick up un-necessary fone calls... **BORED** so anyway, i finally decided to send her a text msg last wed. And then we met to talk on thurs afternoon... we talked about lotsa stuff.. about her attitude, about mine.. I'm so lazy to blog everythin out.. haha~ So anyway, the end result was that, it was actually kinda/sorta my fault. Basically, it all boiled down to me being insensitive to her feelings and stuff. Well, the way she presented her arguments and reasons sounded rather persuasive... so being the regular Christabel, i apologized. haha once again...

But i'm glad everythin turned out OK. Coz on fri, we went for Gyu Kaku (it was juz mad delicious!! Heard that they hav 3 outlets in S'pore too!!) and then karaoke. And on saturday, shopping madness. Easter sales or smthin.. I bought 2 pairs of jeans and another key charm from juicy. OMG... my new key charm is soooo freaking cute!!!! U've juz gotta see it!!! Too bad i'm at work right now.. otherwise I could post up a pic of it!!! Haha~ Btw, i've decided to go on a diet and force myself into my new pair of jeans!! I know it sounds retarded... but nami and I purposely bought a smaller size so that we'll be motivated to fit into it. It's spasic... I bought one from Adriano Goldschmied and another from G-star. LOve my new jeans!!! Wanted to get something from True Religion but.. erm.. too many ppl in the shop.. so, i decided, another time perhaps. We were at Woodbury Commons from like 1-8ish?? Madness... then we had argentinian pizza for dinner... but as we were too exhausted, we didn't really had much appetite. Kinda sux coz the pizza was supposed to be very good u noe.. hmm

Oh btw, i wanna try this dessert restaurant smtime this wk!! Mayb tmr nite, perhaps~!! haha http://www.chikalicious.com/ looks delicious right?? and definitely appetizing!! When Imelia comes to NYC this summer, I'm sooo gonna bring her to the good restaurants in manhattan!!! haha~ I think we'd both probably gain weight before we return to Sg. It's been ee-yon years since i last blogged.. Having lotsa mixed feelings right. My studies are going well, it's the relationship part that sux. I juz cant handle it. Relationships with ppl ALWAYS gets to me.. does the problem really lie with me?? Why can't ppl juz pass each and every day happily?? Why do they ALWAYS hav to complicate stuff?? **frustrated**

Want to noe who's pissing me off this time?? My supposed NYC best fren. =/ Seriously, are japs more sensitive than others? Or am i juz insensitive to ppl's feelings? She gets mad at me over the slightiest thing, regardless of whether or not i'm the cause of it. I've never encountered such problems with any of my other frens before. Not jill, dora, pearlyn.. etc... I'm exhausted, pissed off.. and everythin else negative... Mayb coz i've never lived with my other close buddies, which is why we never quarrel/argue? We seldom even hav any disagreements! But Nami, she's juz too much i can bear smtimes.. she complains that i never read her moods, i dun understand how she feels. Basically, she feels that I dun care about her?? I'm like thinking.. "what the fuck?!" I go all the way out to help her whenever I can, to spend time with her whenever she wants.. I dun think i've even been so sweet/nice to anyone before, not even my ex-bfs!! Which is juz ironic... but still, it's never enough. My bro says, that's because I indulged her from the start. But.. i was juz tryin 2 be nice, tryin 2 help her the first time I met her, coz she was having problems with her bf.

Now that they've broken up, it's not that I mind that she relies on me. I make time for her whenever i can.. but everytime she stays over at my place (which is at least 3 days a wk), we quarrel. We knew each other since last June.. the quarrels started Oct/Nov 07? It has become like an on-goin thing for our frenship now. Whenever we meet, we're at each others' throat. Even if it's juz a conversation on the phone, we end up screamin at each other. I mean we dun literally SCREAM, but we get pissed off, and then we end up ending the call and enter cold war. But every single time, I'm the one who apologizes. =( (mayb except for ONCE) She doesn't say sorry. She vents her anger on me, and then says it's because i'm insensitive towards her feelings. She unleashes a whole load of crap on me, and turns ard and makes me feel it's my fault that I upset her, so I shld apologize. I'm not a ppl person. I think logically, i dun like to let emotions get the better of me. But with her, with Nami, when she begins or when I feel she's gonna break down, I juz surrender. I can't deal with a weaping person. Seriously, i'm always at a lost at wat to do when she does that. So wat do i do? I juz give in..

But yesterday, I juz couldn't take it anymore.... =( I left her stranded there and juz drove off. I know it was mean, but i'd reached my limit. what shld i do? We're goin to move in together... this summer.. she's goin to sg with me... wat if we juz quarrel again everyday??? Sigh sigh sigh....

I'm pissed off! Why? Coz this so-called "fren" of mine juz bought the bag which I've wanted since a month ago! Most ppl would tell me, "It's not YOUR bag! So why can't she buy it? If u had really wanted it so badly, u would hav bought it a long time ago! Ha.. so stop being such a baby!" The thing is, when I first showed the handbag to her online, she kept telling me, "It's so small! Total waste of $$. Not worth it! U shld buy smthin else!" So?!?! If the handbag was as "worthless" as she had claimed it to be, why did she get it?!?! FUCK!

Now the qns is: So, why didn't YOU get it? Well, coz when I went to the store last wk, the sales guy told me the color which I wanted, had been out of stock since x'mas! They only had the white one remaining! I wanted the ebony colored one, so I decided to try online shopping. Lo and behold, I found it 2 days ago! When I met her at work today, I was so excited and planned on telling her the good news. Guess wat? She told me that she had bought the white one!!!! Initially, she was planning to get a bigger size one, a totally different patterned one, coz she said it was more appropriate for her since she had many sch textbooks to carry. FUCK FUCK FUCK!! I'm totally cool if my frens want to get the same clothes or stuff as me... i'm pissed off coz she had initally branded my bag to be so worthless!!! If she had liked the bag when I first showed it to her, juz say so! We could hav gone together to get it or smthin.. i would hav been happy that someone shared similar taste as me! But, why lie?!!? No wonder, she didn't dare bring the bag to work together! Hypocritical snake! Seriously....

If she buys the exact same Hermès fragrance as me, I'm sooo gonna slap her! **Coz she had told me that it stinks** Fuck.... i hate lying copycats... they're HATEFUL!! =(

NINJA New York

I've been missing in action for a couple of weeks.. but oh well, sch's been tough and hectic... wonder what're my other frens busy with. Anyway, it seems like more and more ppl are signing up for facebook.. haha~ from ICQ to friendster to MSN.. and now, FACEBOOK? What's next? MIXI? Hmmmm...

Anyways, I went to this NINJA restaurant with my roomie last Sat.. the ambience was good.. there was a magician performing his tricks in front of us, but the food... hmmm i would say it wasn't up to our expectations. We're not gonna go there again but I'd definitely recommend my frens to check that place out. It's cool.. and let's juz say, it's smthin different! haha~ imagine NINJAs serving u ur dinner... hmmm

So, we ordered two different types of sets from the menu. I ordered smthin called "Kunoichi" and he ordered "Hanzou". We each have a first, second, third, and fourth course, followed by desserts *Yum-yum*.

My first course:

Let me digress a little... before our food came, we ordered somethin to drink. I ordered a glass of Ninja Cocktail called Retsu. It was made with pureed banana, Godiva white chocolate, Hazelnut liqueur, Han Asian rice vodka topped with a Dark chocolate mousse sauce. One word - SWEET! It was so sweet.. then i realized, it's a dessert drink. Damn... i shld hav juz stuck with wine... but argh~

My roomie ordered a cup of jap mocha.... bitter bitter bitter.... no comments. Let me go back to my first course.... It tasted weird... but it looks pretty, doesn't it? The tomatoe dipping sauce did not taste anywhere near tomatoe sauce.. weird... for the 2nd course, I had sushi rolls. The regular sushi rolls.. nothin special. It was OKAY.... My third course is worth mentioning coz it looked disgusting when the ninja served it to me. It's named Kuro-subuta. It's simmered pork in squid ink tempura batter. Looks gross but the taste wasn't that bad... then again, once is enuff!

For my fourth course, Prime steak. There were only a miserable 4 pieces of steak. It was served with Garlic sauce. Not too bad.. not highly recommended though...

Last but not least, desserts!!! The name of my dessert: Bonsai!! Haha it came exactly like the plant!! haha~ I could eat every part of it!! It was the best part of the dinner!! Yummy.... highly recommended!! Now, let's go on to my roomie's Hanzou set meal. **btw, my set meal is found only in the "secret menu".... sounds mysterious huh....**

For my roomie's first course: Batto Jutsu. There were sea scallops and salmon layered with a light mix of sauces. It was tasty... but definitely not worth the money.

His second course was titled Nigiri Sushi. Six pieces of regular sushi that we can get anywhere in any jap restaurant.. no picture for that! Up next was the 3rd course: Ninja Lobster!!! It was one of the highlights of the night. Crushed Maine lobster, Mushroom and Creamy Américaine sauce and what-nots. Hmmm....

Fourth course - T-Bone steak with Teriyaki sauce. We couldn't finish it... the steak was just right but... the sauce was too salty... ***I felt***

And for desserts, he ordered a ORIGAMI!! Haha~ It was so-so... but the crane could be eaten. Interesting... isn't it??

Anyway, the bill came up to slightly more than 200 bucks... no comments. But if anyone wants to try it... http://www.ninjanewyork.com/index.html Reservations are required.. no walk-ins! Our next stop: a place that tastes better... with the same or similar ambience!

I drove all the way to Long Island with my frens today.. juz for buffet! But I muz say it was surprisingly not bad!! The dessert were juz fantastic!! And the price, reasonable. =P well, it was kinda like a mini break for me since I had a mid-term exam in the morning. I studied so hard last nite and guess wat? The questions were multiple-choiced!! Freak........ but i think i'm gonna do well, so oh well......

Hmmmm plannin to go to the beach smtime this wk... but then, the weather is juz irritating... raining like hell today... it's a good thing that I haven't bought a new AC... haha~ my new fan is working mad well....keeps me cool at least and it's pretty... can't complain...

Alrightey... gonna end here. Nothing much to blog about.. my life has been pretty much the same, sch & work... and it goes on.... yawn.. i'm planning a weekend getaway with my girlfrens smtime in aug... most probably after my summer classes end. We'll probably go upstate, rent a cottage or smthin... =) have fun!

But my roomie's fren, bought another box of snacks from me when she came back from Japan and it was so tasty!!! OMG.... if i do go to japan at the end of the yr, i'm so gonna buy back all those food thingy as souvenirs!! Haha~

Alrightey, enuff about those stuff. Let me show u my new teapot!!! It's soooo undeniably cute!! A little expensive but I needed one anyway.... i needed a teapot with diffuser.. so that I can brew my slimming tea... mmmm.....

Oh and not forgetting... chocolates!!! My roomie bought this when he was shoppin in 5th Ave. Painting on chocolates...!! I haven't tasted it though... not sure if it's as good as it looks.. haha~

I know I shld hav posted the pics long ago... but erm.... due to unforeseen circumstances... *hey, at least I still took time to upload them and post it up right?**

So where shld we start off? First, the trip to Orlando was simply fantastic!!! We had so much fun!! Let me start off with our rental car... it was a new Ford Fusion! A vast difference from my Honda Civic.... Look at the car... sleek and cool.... hmmmm.... the dashboard was also quite pretty.... I'm gonna miss it!

Well, we reached orlando ard midnite so when we reached our Inn (yes, it was an "Inn" and not "Hotel"!), we immediately changed and dived into the beds. Surprisingly, the rooms were HUGE! With 2 full-sized beds... lucky us... we had a pretty good deal from cheaptickets.com. So anyway, the next morning, we woke up mad early (for the free continental breakfast) and proceeded to the Premium Outlets, which was located near our hotel. As it was a monday (memorial day), there were crazy sales EVERYWHERE!! Of course, I managed to get my Polo Ralph and some other nonsense... I was so tempted to get my burberry handbag!! But damn it, i didn't wanna use up all my $$ on the first day. After shopping hysterically, we proceeded to downtown orlando. Gosh... it was so serene there!! We visited the famous Lake Eola! Having a car makes things easy!

It's official... i'm down with allergies... Zyrtec only works for awhile... damn damn damn!! I hate the pollen.... And to think that I'm healthy and fit.... and what hav we... the stuffy nose... the sneezing... the puffy eyes... gosh, i need more antihistamines!!! Gonna blow my nose away soon... hmmmm

On a lighter note.. woo-hoo! Heading off to the beach later! The sun is gonna be high up in the skies! Yeah!! And then, meeting Ken for dinner tonight. Kinda like a farewell dinner since i'm gonna be in florida when he is leaving for Japan. =( Gonna miss him! Hopefully, we'll hav some photos taken. I borrowed the camera from my cousin, for the florida trip. Shall bring it along to dinner. =)

Argh~ I feel so terrible!!! My allergy is giving me a headache. Shall head back to dreamland for another couple of hrs or so... nitez~

BBQ today

I was supposed to have a BBQ party today but guess wat? It started raining when we were juz getting started... stupid weather... it was sunny the whole day and juz unexpectedly, the clouds gathered and the drizzles begun. Argh~ Anyway, i'm glad i decided to get my lazy butt off my chair to get myself to the BBQ. It was fun even though we juz hung ard to chill. Lotsa beer though and forbidden stuff... hmmm The best part of the gathering. I found a new target!! OMG... details another time! Haha~

Haha finally!!! my exams are OVER!!! Yeah!!! And know wat adds to the fun?? My new laptop!! It's mad cool, with very good configurations. Of course, a little more expensive than regular laptops but... erm... totally worth the $$!! DORA, now i can webcam with u ANYTIME!!

Well, my roomie is back in Japan for 2 wks... leavin me all alone in the hse... i'm so bored.. so many parties lately but i dun wanna go.. coz i'm lazy and moreover, i wanna save more $$. My new lappy has burnt a big hole in my pocket...

I haven't been updating coz i'm been so lazy!! Freak freak... but lotsa updates. For starters, i kinda "revamped" my room a little. Bought a new big bed.. haha and a new comfy leather chair... hmm wat else? Oil fragrances for my room which cost a freaking $8 per bottle.. and the bottle is so damn tiny... argh~ but now, my room smells and feels good!! Yeah!! Btw, i've double eyelids now!! My birthday is in less than a month's time. I can foresee a pretty good celebration already. Just the gift that I'm gonna receive... makes me on cloud nine. My roomie asked me if there was anythin in particular which i wanted. Of course there are many things which I want, but I told him, juz smthin nice and appropriate will do. Not necessary for him 2 go to the expense since he's not my bf anyway. Guess wat?? He actually suggested getting a Burberry check wallet for me!! And it costs almost 300 bucks!! Freak!!! I told him it's too expensive but he said usually jap girls demand more expensive gifts, so that's pretty OK. Gosh.... I wish i grew up in japan... all the prada, gucci stuff lingering ard... haha~ If he really buys the wallet for me, i'm gonna buy the bag to match it. Heck if i hav to survive on bread for the next few months or so...... It's a good thing the new sony ericsson ain't out yet... *phew*

Spring break is gonna be over in about 4 days' time... i've been having home cooked meals these days. Why? Coz i've a super good cook fren!! Haha~ he's amazing... we baked a cake together 2 days ago. It's so sweet & chocolatey!!!! Omg.... i've had 2 slices for breakfast earlier!! =P

It snowed again in NYC yesterday... weather looks clear today but heard that it's gonna snow again and that kinda sux. I hate it when it snows... i've 2 be so extra careful when i'm on the roads. *damn* Speaking of which, gotta change and go out now. Take care peepz!

I've been so busy rushing my papers that i've neglected my blog... gosh!! Guess wat??! After a month of absence, suddenly, i hav so many new desires now. It's scary... but i feel that those are stuff that i really need. But before i go to that, i've got good news!! Spring break is starting in a wk's time and for easter break in april, ivan's gonna be here!! haha~ My retarded fren.. can't believe his the first 2 visit me here in NYC. LOL... i've in mind quite a few places to bring him too... thank god for my car... it's gonna make our lives so much easier!! Can't wait to crap with him again!! When he comes here, i'm gonna drag him 2 the Woodbury shoppin outlet to get my first "want"!! =P

Anyway, my first "want": New Burberry Check Satchel.. It costs a freaking $890!!! But it's damn pretty right? I've juz treat it as a bday present for myself, from myself. Haha~

Next, a new cellphone. I want the upcoming Sony Ericsson K810!! It has a 3.2MP camera, with red eye reduction and xenon flash. How cool can it get?!! Without plan, the price is expected to be around $430! Argh~

Last but not least, i need a new laptop. I seriously HATE my crappy IBM laptop. I saw the new Acer Travelmate 8000 series. The functions are so great.. but the price is pretty steep.. ard $2,800... argh~

I am so loving my life right now.. i hav a nice place to live in, a not-so-bad car, in a gd uni, hav a nice boss... but the thing is, i've a crappy laptop!!! And i mean it when i say CRAPPY!!! It takes mad long to boot up.. and know wat's worst?? I think my stupid uni installed a software in it which block my downloads!!! Shit... Can't believe this is DSL!! Guess it's time I consider upgrading to cable....

I've been so lazy to blog lately but I can't help but vent some of my frustrations here now!! Wat is wrong with mothers??!! Why do they always hav to know who we are dating, which opposite sex we are close to??? My mom juz questioned my about my relationships AGAIN!! The more she knows about how her daughter views and treats relationship, the more astonished she will be. She will not understand why her daughter is like that... blah blah! But seriously, i'm not concerned! Which is why i never discuss any of my relationships with her! But why muz everyone wanna know?? After rotting for a whole month, i've decided to start bloggin again. Wat hav I been doing for the past few wks? Take a look at dora's blog and u'll know.. Photo madness... once again, she posted up.. i guess EVERY SINGLE PHOTO WE TOOK!! *unbelivable*

Anyway, once again, i'm back in NYC. Surprising, the weather's not too cold... heard that it's not gonna snow this winter, thank god!! Gosh.... it's 6.25am.. why aren't in bed?? Well, coz i'm HUNGRY!! But i'm lazy to open up my potatoe chips... seriously, i'm a lazy ass!! Yeah!! Gonna take a look at some cars on monday... hopefully i can get a cheap but good Honda civic.. I love the new mazdas but... they're outta budget. =(

This trip back to SG was great *not that the last one wasn't*!! I managed to spend time with both family and close frens!! I ate all my favorite hawker food.. i think i gained a few more pounds again... *shudders at that thot* I'm so glad that i'll be back in SG again this comin summer!! Haha~

I am so freaking, bloody tired!!! Came home at 4am yesterday and then slpt for 2 hrs before rushing out for work at 8am! Madness... my eyes were so tiny; I couldn't even fit my contact lens in. California, here I come!! Tickets booked! Haha~ Yes, i'll be flying off to San Francisco next jan.. from the 9th-16th. Haven't updated for quite sometime.. partly because i was busy with my studies and also coz I was LAZY... that word is so scary.... damn it... Anyway, latest update. Haha~ Guess wat?! I've been cooking since morning!! madness... i think soon.. with more practise.. i'll become a fairly good cook! At least my stuff are edible... First thing in the morning! Breakfast!! I had an egg, salami ham and fish fillets!! Love my fish fillets.. together with my home-made milo... tsk tsk... breakfast was sumptious! Okie.. mayb all the food below can't be considered "cooking" but who cares!!?? Yeah!! Friday is ALWAYS the best day of the wk...! =P Wat did i do today? I spent 25 bucks on a stupid lab coat... but at least I look good in it! Haha~ Hmm... can't wait to start working in the hospital.. shld be mad cool... anyway, I managed to get my lazy butt up by 5.45am this morning and into the lecture hall by 7am. For ONCE, I was earlier than the prof! Haha~ surprise, surprise! But the point was, the lecture was simply a total waste of my time. Argh~ my bio prof sux!!! He was lecturing us about carbonyl, carboxylic acid groups.. et cetera.. and then he drew the structure of a super obvious propanal. But when it came to naming that compound, he actually told us that it was called ethanal!! One of my lecture mates pointed out to him that he was wrong, but he insisted that he was right.... we were like... "wat the hell??!" Then, he decided to refer to the great and marvelous textbook, and realized to his horror that HE HAD MADE A MISTAKE!!! I can't believe that he's our professor.. crap....

Instead of apologizing and admitting to his mistake, he tried to find means and ways to explain why he thot it was ethanal and not propanal. Terrible... but then, it led me wondering... wat if i was in his position?? I think i would have been utterly embarrassed! Seriously... profs ALWAYS insist that their students read ahead so that when they come to class, they'll understand wat the prof is trying to teach. But i feel, professors themselves SHOULD read their own lecture notes (ahead of time) so they'll know that they're teaching us the right stuff! HMPH! =)

I'm supposed to hav my first bio exam next wk but guess wat? It has been postponed to Oct... due to the jewish religious wk...yeah! More time to study?? No... more time for me to read my theology books... damn... the class is BORING.... i love my human anatomy class!! Seriously, my professor is so damn freaking entertaining!! Everyone in class loves her!! She's witty and she knows her stuff!! I love listening to all the case studies which she encountered with her patients...! There's juz so much to learn and know en-route to being a PA! I'm getting more and more interested in the PA profession! Can't wait to graduate!

A very GOOD MORNING to all!! Esp to dear dora!! Haha~ I haven't met her online for like almost 2 wks?!! Sux.... it's all verizon's fault!!! Sorry babe, but i can only be online after Sept 7!! Due to unforeseen circumstances.... anyway, i've juz had my morning bio lesson...bio lec is boring!!! The prof is spastic... i love human anatomy though!! It's mad cool!! hehe~ Here I am, with my Godiva french latte and chocolate chip cheesecake.. mmmm... it's paradise!! I've never tried a chocolate chip cheesecake before.. it's delicious!! Even though I still prefer blueberry cheesecakes.. BUT, nonetheless, better than nothin! So basically, sch has started for me once again... and sad to say, summer is OVER!! It's so chilly today.... i think we've entered autumn for NYC.... damn it!! But when st. john's made it MANDATORY for all new students to attend, I was like cursing under my breath. But, woo-hoo!! When I finally attended orientation, I found out it was so fun!! What have i been doing the whole morning?! Haha u wun believe it.. i packed all my clothes into the boxes in less than half an hr's time!! Yes, I'm done with my studies for this summer! Time to get a gd rest... *snores* Haha~ Signed the housing lease today. Everythin's confirmed!! I'll be moving into my new place next tue, 15th!! Woo-hoo!! Parties, parties and more parties!! It's gonna be hell of madness!! Haha~ But ssshhh......... we wouldn't want the adults to find out yeah... haha~ Lotsa cleaning up to do next wk. I've a bio test on thursday!! Yikes... guess wat? I'm still stuck on my Philosophy take home test... damn.... i really hate that class... it's boring.... i hate it when the prof asks qns like, "What is the difference between knowledge and beliefs?" I juz feel like smacking him with an Oxford dictionary.... geez..... I found out from my fren that we have to take 3 semesters of philosophy!!! That's like so damn mad!!

After serious thinking, i've decided to postpone taking my organic chem classes to next spring.. i really dun think that i'll be able to cope with chem and 2 other bio classes in 1 sem. Sighs... hav to take this course called Discover New York. Haha~ 3 credits class.... waste of my money.. but no choice... required by my uni....

Geez... it's been raining cats and dogs for the past 2 days.. mad weather over here. Nothin much has been going on for the past few days... wat shld i blog about? *blank look* Okie, this is out of point. Haha but i received my paycheck again today! Yippy.. miserable amt.. only enuff for me to pay off my credit card bills.. sux... shaun was asking if i'll be free for a vacation the week after next. I am free but not sure to where we shld go.. i suggested miami, florida.. afterall, it's summer, and the beach is where we're supposed to hang out! haha~ not at home and definitely, not in sch! BUT... much planning and discussion is still needed.. hmmm mayb i shld check out the prices of the vacation packages after i'm done with this post!

Went to Rockafellar yesterday to look for my swiss chocos. Sad to say.. the shop only imports from zürich and not gèneve... *disappointed* Looks like i can forget about tasting any of my favorite chocos for the coming yr.. *sigh* After that, went with my aunt for window shopping. Stopped and walked into Abercombie. Huge mistake! I saw this classic shirt, $59.90. Damn!! I didn't buy it there and then.. *thankfully* but i know myself very well.. once i set my eyes on smthin, i'll get it if it's within my means, even though the shirt is not worth that amt of $$$!! My prof said that philosophy is unpredictable.. i totally agree!! Gosh.. the classes are really BORING.. the boredom is killing me, seriously.... mayb i'm only suitable for PREDICTABLE subjects. LOL... haven't blogged for awhile.. guess wat?? I was so ill the past few days... think i was down with stomach flu.. felt bloated and nauseous.... it was terrible.... received a brochure from Amerispan yesterday... 1,800++ for learning french in Nice, France for 3 wks. Worth it huh?? Homestay... with pte room... but i was thinkin if i switzerland would be a better choice. Even though it's more expensive... sighs.... who wants to join me??

Was chatting with jevon earlier and he mentioned smthin about me... which upon deep thinking... i think he might be right! Damn.. Okie, as usual i was complaining to him that i got reprimanded for coming home late last weekend and i've been pissed for like almost 3 days now. So he said, "U're petty! Dora went to the ZOO!!! I can't believe it! I hate the zoo!! I hate animals... coz i hate the smell... i wonder why kids always love the zoo.... i used to dread going on zoo outings... #$^%$&~! Can u believe it?! 3 movies in a day!!!??? Madness, but that's exactly wat i did yesterday! X-men 3 in the morning, followed by Poseidon, then Over the Hedge! Haha~ X-men 3 was freaking gd! Kinda expected... had high expectations of it... love Storm especially. She's damn cool! But it was a pity that my beloved cyclops died juz that.... #$^$%&! Not supposed to happen that way.. then there's Jean Grey... she's so haggered now!! Unlike in the first part of x-men... well, women age quickly i guess... cyclops still as gd looking as before! haha~ Then there's wolverine, he's cute but hmmm too hairy.. tsk tsk...

As for Poseidon, i give it a tumbs up!! 5 star rating!! It's mad good!! Definitely a thriller!! I was so tensed thru-out the whole movie!! Gosh.. i think it's much better than titanic! I prefer thriller/mystery as to romance! That's juz me.. of course, we musn't forget HORROR!! Haha~ Over the hedge was a nice movie... not really very funny type... but it was okie. I'm neutral. Mayb give it a 3 star rating? Superman will be out this summer too... haha~ the new Superman is gorgeous too!! Brandon Routh!!

That was yesterday... today: Went to QC then to St. John's to get my I-20. But alas, i can only pick it up next tue. Oh well, at least all the documentation parts' done. Now, i juz hav to wait.... Going to the beach this thurs! Boy, am i excited! I'm seriously praying that it's be so freaking hot! So i can "barbeque" myself.. haha~ Have to meet the counselor for advisement next wk... shit... i hope he's not gonna make me take 18 credits a semester.. otherwise i'm seriously gonna "die"!! FINALLY!! After waiting like for a yr! I managed to catch that movie last nite! It's mad good! I mean, i could totally follow the storyline... mayb coz i read the whole freaking book! *PS: Tom Hanks looked so fat in the movie... why couldn't they juz hire another better-looking actor for the role of Robert Langdon?! Damn..* Haha~ Omigosh... x-men 3 will be the next one!!! I'm so excited! The first 2 parts of x-men were really interesting! We have entertaining movies this month end..... =P

Went for a job interview today... the job's pretty interesting, and very slack... juz that the pay is rather low.... so i guess, no choice. Gotta make more fone calls, and go for more interviews!! Which reminds me, i've an interview tmr!! Argh~ *praying hard that the pay is good?*

I'm finally done with QC, done with exams... and all other crap!! YEAH!! I can finally PLAY now, before my new term starts. In the meantime, gotta start lookin for a job... sighs... Chem exam today was juz nuts....! Math was worst! The qns weren't really that difficult but the differentiation was tedious! Madness.... I didn't hav time for finish every qns, but attempted all though... so.... As for french, haha~ The test was short and simple. Period. Hope i didn't make any careless mistakes..... hmmm....

Going for a movie tmr, really wanna watch Poseidon or Da Vinci Code. Well, will see which timing is gonna fit us better.... not sure if there's gonna be any karaoke session after that, but if there is.... YEAH!! Shit!! Really need to get a job! Running low on funds now....

It's Monday once again. In 48 hrs' time, i will be OFFICIALLY done with this semester. Argh~ 3 papers in a day.. most of my frens were wondering why i didn't request to postpone one of the exams to another day. My cousin was surprised that there were no time conflicts between all 3 papers! *lol* But then, i juz wanna get over and done with this semester.. anyway i'll be transferring to st. john's next sem, so it doesn't really matter.

There's nothin much for me to do in the clinic for the morning, actually there is, but i dun feel like doing it. Haha~ So i logged on into Friendster to re-read the testimonials that my frens left for me... Very sweet testimonials there... reminds me of the time that we spent together. Really miss those gd ol'days... then there were sm frens, wished that i had handled our relationship in another way. It's funny how close frens become juz mere aquaintances as the years go by... I dun even know wat went wrong in our relationship. The feeling sux.. but i guess that's juz life. Frens come and go.. we only need 1 true fren, and I'm glad that i've a few. Really gonna cherish our friendship! =)

Well then, shan't go on. Shldn't dwell too much on the past! Haha~ Everyone's gotta move on, as much as we hate it. Growing up seems to be a slow and painful process, no doubt we will learn lotsa valuable lessons, STILL, we can't ignore the fact that we had to go thru those pain before we FINALLY learnt smthin. I had a fantastic time today! Dinner was great, and karaoke session was juz mad. *lol* Thanks shaun! We had japanese buffet at a reasonable price. The crabs were sweet but my favorite part was the desserts! I've a sweet tooth.. can't help it... the chocolate crepes and mini eclairs tasted heavenly! =P *yes, i know.. gained another few pounds today....* Free-flow of iced-tea... yummy!

Yikes!! I think my taste buds hav gone haywired!! Mayb it's coz i'm always taking food that are so crazily spicy... i tried the Nissin Spicy Prawn Flavor instant noodles last nite.. and i felt that it was so blend!! GOsh... korean noodles used to be somewhat spicy for me.. but i've juz finished one big bowl of it, and i think it's not spicy anymore!!! Shit.... the "kick" is no longer there! =(

Haven't been able to chat much with dora/jill lately!! Sorry babes!! I've been so busy!! Final exams are fast approaching.. so gotta mug like a nerd! Upsetting news... i've finished the swiss chocolates which i bought!! *sniff* Fortunately, my aunt asked her colleagues to get a few more packets for me from Geneva!! Yes!! Math test today!! But i think i did damn well!! It simply goes to show that hardwork DOES pay off... my late nights of mugging... =P French prof dropped a piece of bad news on us today.... that is: We're gonna hav oral conversational exams next thursday (i think~)... damn it.... why can't the department be juz satisfied with written examinations??

Anyway it seems that all my frens are MIA-ing lately. I guess it's due to their exams... hmmm... even my silly bro... who's not having his finals... ignoring me on msn.. I bet he's clubbing like hell!!! It shall be my turn this weekend! *muahaha*

I was surfing the internet yesterday, and i realized that studio apartments are not really that expensive... 700 bucks per month... utilities included... with cabinets n stuff... gd deal huh? Mayb i shld rent one of those when i'm done with my hostel life. Then i can have house parties!!! *lol* This semester is almost approaching an end... I was dozing off in french class earlier... argh~ muz be the side effects of the cold medicine... Math test this thurs... i'm more or less done, but still gotta revise a little more. Anyway, i wun be going to Cancún this summer... having mixed feelings about it. Sad coz i wun be able to travel (boo-hoo)... happy coz i'll be save up my $$... mayb i'll visit my brother in CA. I'll see if i've the $ for the air tickets there first...

Haha~ received a long ass email from dear dora!! I replied her IMMEDIATELY, otherwise she's gonna kill me when she gets back from KL!! Work today was fun... not that busy.. supposed to go out, but the new pair of shoes i wore out... terrible... my feet are aching with blisters now... Why must new shoes always hurt!? Damn...

Anyway, i'm so excited!! I finally managed to order my swiss chocolates!! haha~ I think it's gonna come in the mail by wed/thurs.... Now that i know where i can get my favorite chocolates at a reasonable price, the next time when i return to S'pore, can buy some for my gd frens to try. That's IF they love milk chocolates... i think ppl like jill, love dark chocolates... $%^*! troublesome woman.. haha~ *kidding*

Gonna get paid tmr... miserable amount, but better than nothin.. =( Scary movie 4 is out, i really wanna watch it! Heard it's damn funny.... haha~ Rachel said that "She's the Man" is funny too.. but i dun think i've so much time to watch so many movies! Have to study for chem! First email i saw this morning, an advert from Lancôme!! Oh..... I can't wait to get my miserable pay!!! I so desperately, badly want the Lancôme Miracle!! haha~ I've been stuck with Estée Lauder & Banana Republic these days... it's time for some new additions to my collection of fragrances.... haha~ I mean I used to hav Miracle, but it was a small bottle, so i used it up pretty fast! *grinz* Now that they hav one that comes in a lovely package, at a reasonable price, why not?! =P

First day of spring break, guess where i am?? haha~ in my college's library... how "exciting" can it get...!! Haha~ but surprisingly, there're a significant amt of fellow college mates in the library today... i guess everyone's mugging for the finals that will take place 2 wks after spring break... hmmm.... as for me, i'm here to study too... with my date!! Actually, it's juz a studying thingy... he's late, still parking his car... *tsk tsk*

Anyway, the weather's good today.. Il fait très beau! In another 1 & a half months' time, i'll be done with Queens College!! haha~ Not that i dislike QC.. juz that I'm so excited to have a "taste" of wat it feels like to be curfew-less in NYC!!

Oh, my elder bro actually took up spanish!! haha~ Was flaunting a few phrases he picked up in class.. i wonder how he feels now. Will he be able to cope? He hasn't touched his books for 5 yrs?? Gosh.... But then again, i believe if he puts in effort, he's gonna do well!! Caféterias in QC are closed today!! I can't believe my bday went past juz like that!!! It's already Apr 7th! But nevertheless, i had a great time this yr...!! Even though i didn't get to celebrate with any of my frens... u know why? Coz it rained, then snowed like mad on Apr 5th!! Shoot... was supposed to meet a few of my frens for luncheon, but the moment we stepped out of the chem lecture theatre, we realized it was raining cats n dogs! Since Diana didn't drive that day, we had to part ways n go home. Argh~ The worst thing was that i forgot to bring my umbrella, n i wasn't wearing my water-proof jacket. Thank god, jeannie brought a huge one (i wonder why... haha~) n she was taking the same bus as moi, so she was providing shelter for me all the way!

Well, that was my afternoon. By evening time, the stupid rain/snow had ceased. Headed out with my relatives to Flushing for dinner... the food was great! Lobster, crabs, abalone, sharks' fins... et cetera. But as usual, i couldn't eat that much. Then it was time for my bday cake to make a grand entrance! The cake was DELICIOUS!! All thanks to my KIND cousin (for once! haha~) n my bro who bought it for me. Häagen-Dazs ice-cream cake! Top layer was chocolate ice-cream n the bottom, bailey's ice-cream! YUMMY!! Only hav a few photos to upload from that nite coz the rest didn't turn out too well... =P

Aha~ Finally!! I'm in the mood to post up some pictures taken at my new college's open hse last sunday! The varsity's huge!! They even built their own church, which is freaking nice! But then again, it's a private uni, with exorbitant sch fees! ^*#(!The dorms look gd (from the outside), but the inside... erm.. no comments... but doesn't really matter coz I'm only gonna stay there for 1 semester. =)

Managed to get more details about the PA program from the professors there... found out that the course i chose is really damn difficult!! Statistics from last yr: first-yr students admitted into the PA prgram - 170++. By the following yr, only 70++ were left... n a yr later, only 50++ remained!! SHIT!! I'm so worried that i wun be able to cope with the work... n even after i become a PA, have to take an exam every 6 yrs!! Argh~ Is this really wat i want? Did i really make the right choice? I wonder....

Mom & bro have finally arrived in San José. Mom says it's cooling n quiet over there... i reckon, the perfect environment to study or for retirement. If i've the $$, gonna visit my bro in june!! =P He's gonna get a studio apartement!! SHIT!!! What a lucky ass!!

Oh! The watch which I ordered finally came in the mail!! Too bad, when the postman came to deliver it today, nobody heard the doorbell. I was slping like a pig.. couldn't help it... so damn tired!! Moreover, he came at like 8++ in the morning! What the hell.. anyway, gotta collect it from the post office tmr.. troublesome.. hope the queue's not gonna be long!!

When my mom comes over, gonna buy lotsa gyro chicken sticks for her to try!! It's delicious!! I'm kinda addicted... juz bought 2 sticks for lunch today, n almost everyday of last wk!! It's like pieces of chicken squeezed in a stick.. like satay.. then the guy puts BBQ sauce on it, & grills/bbq it.. pipping hot whenever I buy it, n great to eat in this cold weather! My classmate told me it's a kind of greek food... hmmm.... Anyway, read dora's blog a few days ago n found out that she went to JB!! ME?! I have only been to malacca (1 day) n sabah! What the dulce... It's embarrassing.. Ppl here often ask me, "Hey, since S'pore's so near to m'sia, i'm sure u visit m'sia often right?" The ans? A big fat NO! Mayb i shld visit KL (at least), when I next go back to S'pore... Hmm...

Anyway, went with my cousin for ktv last friday. haha~ it was great, although 2 hrs was too short... we could probably go again next time.

GOOD NEWS!! I GOT ACCEPTED INTO ST.JOHN'S!! haha~ Finally!! Orientation's on apr 2, n my mom's gonna be in NYC, which means, she can go for the orientation with me!! Hehe~ A PERFECT bday gift this yr!! Received another letter from Queens College.. they actually OFFERED me a freaking scholarship! What the dulce... if only i'd received the letter earlier... can't accept the offer now that i'll be going to study in St. John's... Sighs...

It's a beautiful wednesday afternoon.. n instead of being outside, basking in the the sun, i'm sitting in the library. Haha~ supposed to go to the gym, but my frens wanted to study with me, no choice, gotta postpone it to fri. Waiting for them to get off from class, i've another hr to slack before the serious work kicks in. Wonder what questions they're gonna ask me today...HMM.... It's a gd thing i brought my laptop.. otherwise i'm gonna die of boredom!

Almost EVERYONE that i know is gonna snowboard this spring break... SHUCKS... I CAN'T GO!!! *boo-hoo* My sickening bro is so freaking lucky, gonna hav his own apartment n car when he's in Los Altos!
